Hi! My name is Ivy Owens (she/her) and I'm a photographer, and designer from Dallas, Texas living in Denver, Colorado. I graduated from the University of North Texas in May of 2022 with a B.F.A. in Studio Art with a Concentration in Photography, where I also worked as an on-campus Photography Lab Technical Assistant and Marketing Assistant.

I moved to Denver in August of 2022 where I began working as a Retail Artist/Assistant Manager for Newlight Creative Reuse  where  I do  product photography and social media coordination. In April of 2023, I began interning for OUT FRONT Magazine (OFM), Denver's LGBTQ+ media outlet, and took over the role of designer in November of 2023 putting me in charge of creating the magazines layouts, covers, photo spreads, and graphics.

 

Along with my role of designer, I also act as a concert, editorial, and event photographer, and was the featured photographer in OFM's November 2023 and December 2023 issues. I'm really passionate about concert photography, and frequently shoot shows in and around Denver. Outside of OFM I do freelance photography and design, and am always looking for new opportunities!
